Head to Michigan in June for the 2017 Motor City Irish Fest @ Greenmead Historical Village

This year’s Motor City Irish Fest takes place June 16-18, 2017 at Greenmead Historical Park in Livonia, Michigan. The three-day festival celebrates all things Irish. Entertainment will include more than 20 musical acts, pipe and drum bands, and Irish dancing. There will also be Irish football matches, a play, vendors selling Irish merchandise, and an Irish Mass on Sunday.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an Irish celebration without Irish food and beverages. Festival-goers can enjoy fish and chips and corned beef sandwiches washed down with Guinness, Smithwicks, and Harp. There will also be whiskey tastings.

The Motor City Irish Fest is fun for the whole family. The youngest members of your group will enjoy entertainment including the Kilted Magician and Irish storytelling. They can also take tin whistle lessons, learn some Irish dance steps, and work off excess energy in the bounce houses. Attendees of all ages will enjoy Ring of Steel, a stunt troupe performance featuring sword fights, pyrotechnics, and audience participation.
